These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the CredMinder application and related services (“Service”) operated by Be Prepared Education, LLC (“BPE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

CredMinder is a credential management tool that allows users to store, organize, and track expiration dates for personal and professional credentials. The Service is available as a mobile application (iOS and Android) and a web application at bepreparededu.com/credminder.

CredMinder is a personal organizational tool. It is not a legal document repository, identity verification service, or substitute for official record-keeping systems maintained by credentialing bodies.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to update it as needed.

You may sign in using email/password, Google, or Apple authentication. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

3. Subscription Plans

CredMinder offers the following subscription tiers:

  • Free: Up to 3 credentials, image storage, PDF export.
  • Pro ($2.99/month or $19.99/year): Up to 10 credentials, all Free features, plus priority support.
  • Unlimited ($4.99/month or $39.99/year): Unlimited credentials, all Pro features.

Prices are in US dollars and are subject to change. We will notify you of price changes before your next renewal. Subscriptions are managed by RevenueCat across all platforms. Mobile subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google and are subject to their respective terms.

4. Billing and Cancellation

Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, depending on your plan) unless cancelled before the renewal date.

  • Web subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
  • Mobile subscriptions: Manage or cancel through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review your case.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into CredMinder, including credential information, notes, and images (“Your Content”). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring that it does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights. We do not monitor, verify, or endorse Your Content.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to store illegal content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Expiration Reminders

CredMinder may send push notifications to remind you of upcoming credential expirations (mobile app only). These reminders are provided as a convenience and are not guaranteed. You remain solely responsible for tracking your credential expiration dates and for renewing credentials on time. BPE is not liable for any consequences of missed reminders.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any data stored in the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BPE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BPE, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion, your credential data and uploaded images will be permanently removed.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if required by law. We will provide notice when reasonably possible.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new version number and date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which BPE is organized, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
